EMERGENCY MACHINERY TO BE CONSIDERED (UNITED PKBSS AB3OCIATION.—COVSBIQBT.I (AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CARLB ASBOCIiHOH.) LONDON, Bth October. The Parliamentary Committee of the ■Trades Union Congress discussed the report of the Conciliation' Committee in the recent strike, and decided to appoint a sub-committee to consider the creating of emergency machinery to intervene immediately in order to prevent big strikes.
