Tho Senate Military Committee voted to recommend that three millions'sterling additional should be allocated for army aircraft, with a view to the ultimate, establishment of the aircraft services to' Alaska during the winter It is anticipated that a flight across Canada to Alaska will be attempted in order to: demonstrate the success or failure of cold weather flying. BrigadierGeneral Mitchell believes that the ultimate extension of the service to Asia will be ■comparatively simple.
