The. Hospital authorities report that the condition of William Guntsr, who was seriously injured in the motor-cycle accident in Thorndon-quay on .Saturday evening, is slightly improved to-day Greorge Sullivan, who was also ..'severely ■injured, is making very good progress.
Considerable interest is ' being' evinced in the exhibition of photographs which1 is Wng ' held at the Y.W.C.A. % buildings, Boulcott-street, under the auspices of the Wellington Amateur Photographic Society. The photographs are those exhibited in tho New Zealand inter-clubs' competitions recently ,hqld "in Bnnedin.' They are mostly of a high cjuality, and cover all ranges of subjects in light and shade. Some of them, indeed, are so good that /they would more . than do credit to the best professional establishments. Those interested in photography should not fail to see the photographs exhibited.
