Peter -George, • a/third offender, was, given, the option of paying a fine of ;10s 'or going to gaol' for three days. Thomas Davis, a fourth offender, was fined £1, in default three days in gaol, and: Ma,ry Barclay, against whom four previous convictions had been recorded within the past' six- months, was ordered, to pay a fine 'of £2 br"to go" to gaol for '14 days. .
