Both Lenoir and Caillaux were heard before the High Court.1 LeAoir alleges that 'he was merely carrying on his father's work in negotiating with Schoeller for the purchase of Le Journal. His father acted in close concert with Caillaux. It is understood that Caillaux declares that he had no relations with Lenoir's father since August, 1914.
