"DAMAGED GOODS."
In the last four years statistics illustrate the wonderful improvement effected by the universal movement in arresting the spread of a certain group of diseases. America's progress in \f.his regard stands first on the list, and the higfily successful result achieved indicates that the army of workers who set out on this 'brave crusade have been compensated for their superhuman efforts, not in the physical sense so much as making the careless-minded and prudish section of the public realise the immense danger that threatened the whole nation's safety now and in years to follow. Upon this crusade the film "Damaged Goods" was partly constructed, and;the producer, Richard Bennett, was one of the most ardent workers in this great movement. •■:The' picture will be exhibited at the Town Hall on Saturday evening to men only, and, starline from Monday next, both Town Halls will be used for screenings for either sex. Plans are on view at,tho Bristol.
