FOUND DEAD

AUCKLAND, 30th September. A seaman on the steamer Wajpara named Henry Weetan, aged 28 years, was found dead in his bank this morning. The deceased joined the vessel in England, having previously been gassed at the front. At an inquest medical evidence showed no sign of disease. The Coroner's verdict was that ■deecised had died from suffocation while in a state of intoxication.
