The former went ahead at the half distance, and won by a length. Cetigne was fourth. Spanner finished in the ruck. Time, Imin 40^sec. Rosehill Guineas, nine furlongs.—' Alfacre, by Linacre—Bewitch, 1; Golden Bubble, by Absurd—Catchfly, 2: Artilleryman, by Comedy King—Cross Battery, 3." There were fifteen starters, including Rossini. Won by a head. Time, Imin 53|sec Biplane and Bimeter ran unplaced in the Camelle Stakes, and Finmark in tho Rosehill Handicap.
