EMPRESS THEATRE.

There is much of interest in "Friend Husband," a Goldwyn comedy drama screening at the Empress Theatre. The story is particularly suited to Madge Kennedy, who, as an attractive girl, and charming comedienne, plays the lead. In order to obtain a fortune left her by an eccentric uncle she must marry. So she pays a nice young man ten thousand dollars for his name only. He turns out a cave variety and abducts his wife, carrying her off to a distant island. In addition is shown a Keystone comedy, as well as several other items of interest.
