(AUSTRALIAN-NBW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 22nd-August. Capablanca, the Cuban player, won the chess tournament at Hastings, scoring 10£ points. Kostich, the Serbian, was second with 9£ points. Casablanca won, throughout, except one draw .with Kostich. . (Received August 25, 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, 24th August. Capablanca won twenty-seven out of thirty-five simultaneous games. He drew in seven and lost one.
