Mr, H. Y. Caverhill, who lms resigned from the staff of the City Corporation after fourteen years' service, received a. presentation from his fellow officers. Mr. H. L. Godber (City Rate Collector) referred to Mr. Cavoiiiill's ability, straight'forwardness, and geniality, and to the higli esteem in which he was held by tho staff. Mr. C. Collins (City Treasurer) and Mr. R. Tait (Deputy Town .Clerk) also spoke in eulogy of the recipient, who suitably responded. Miv Caverhill has taken up dairy farming at Silverstream;
