SAMOAN ADMINISTRATION

LEGISLATION BEING PREPARED

New Zealand, as mandatory for Samoa, has now to place the administration of that territory on a more permanent basis than has been the case during the mi'.:tary occupation. This will be the subject of legislation. In reply to a question, Sir James Allen stated to-day that the Government's ideas were fairly clear on the subject, and a Bill was being prepared by the Solicitor-General for submission to Cabinet.
