PEOPLE'S PICTURE PALACE. "That's "Good." adapted from the story by Richard Washbnrn Child, is the attraction at Hie People's Picture Palace to-day, with Hale Hamilton in the leading role. The story is of a wise young man, thought foolish by his neighbours because of his compla-cent outlook on life, and of a young woman who, in her. own opinion, is unusually clever and subtle. How \mexpected adventures come up which turn the tables and make the young man the wisest of the j two is cleverly told. Another innovation at this popular theatre is the installation of the Ampico, the very Isiest device in. automatic piano playing. This is the only electrical piano of this typo in New Zealand, and it is said to provide the verjr latest triumph of invention in automatic instrumentation. Tune, tone, touch, and expression are all in evidence, at "the touch of the magician's wand," which in this case is plain ordinary juice. The jazz effects in the current musical programme are exceptionally effective.
