PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

One of the features at the Paramount is "The City of Dim. Paces," which deals with the imprisonment of women in an underground Chinese den, and the subsequent offer of a young girl to the highest bidder. The young man responsible for this becomes enlightened with the fact that he has white blood in his veins, and effects a rescue. The, climax is both thrilling and pathetic. Another picture, "The Girl Who Came Back," tells how the daughter of .an .expert cracksman and thief fights her way to an honourable recognition in the eyes of society and the man she lovee. ..' The remainder of the-programme is equally interesting.
