FAREWELL TO MR. LEN. BARNES.
A complimentary concert is to be" tendered to Mr. Len. Barnes at the Town Hall on Thursday evening next. The programme will include Percy Grainger's quaint "Sentimentals," presented by Miss Teresa M'Enroe, Mr. H.-F. Wood, and Mr. Harold Whittle. The trio from the final scene in Gounod's "Faust," "Holy Angels," wili.be sung by Miss M'Enroe, Signoil. Cesaroni, and Mr. H. F. Wood. Mr. Barnes is to sing "The Calf of Gold'! and "Denny Deever," and will be associated with Mr. Martin Duff in the duet "Watchman, What of the Night?" Miss M'Enroe will join once more \ith Mr. Barnes in the duet from "II Trovatore." Mr. Martin-Duff will sing "The Message," Miss Thurza Rogers will contribute a Polish dance, and Mrs. Maud Bletsoe-Buckeridge will sing "At Midnight on My Billow Lying,'" vith -a whistling obbligato by Mrs. Winnie Birch-Johnson. Signor Lucien Cesaroni is to sing that fine solo, "Infelice," and Air. H. F. Wood will sing the charming ballad "Mattinata." Messrs. Albert Russell find W. W. Crawford will supply humorous songs and sketches, and Mrs. Billie Gre«n will sing "Prelude1." Messrs. Harold Whittle and Albert Thomas will preside at the pianoforte.
