BOLSHEVISM IN RUSSIA
GERMAN INFLUENCE CAPTURING THE SOVIETS.
(PUBLISHED IN THE TIMES.) * (Received July 21, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 15th July. . A despatch from Ekaterinburg states that the Bolsheviks everywhere are treating the peasants and workmen with the severest discipline, and are enforcing wholesale enlistments. As soldiers they are subjected to iron rule and cruelty at the hands of the Red Communist troopers. These are really a Janissary force, generally of Russians, who show an utter incapacity to assimilate any socialistic revolutionary doctrines. The mass of the peasants have reverted to religion and anti-Semitism, and the "Reds" are now showing an unmistakable tendency to indulge in pogroms. All the information available suggests that - tho revolutionary Jewish influence is-waning, and that German influence is capturing the Soviets. Russia is fast falling under the German yoke.
