Q?he Napier- telegraph operators at a meeting last night unanimously passed the following motions: "That this meeting of telegraph operators of Napier unanimously endorse the resolution of the Wellington operators that reclassification of the service has.,not meted out salaries commensurate with the work performed by them as specialists, and that the list is inadequate, Beeing that the average Increase granted to 'officers is not more than ten J>er cent, whilst the cost of living had advanced 35 per cent, That it is the unanimous opinion of the meeting that a New Zealand Telegraph Operators' Union be formed throughout the Dominion with- the ob. ject of protecting the 'interests of its members.''
