MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS.

Tho wookly meeting- of tho Management Committee of tho Wellington Football Association was presided over by Mr. W. Auld last ovoninjr. Tho following members of tho committee woro present: iVlossns. W. Duncan, C. Webster, H. Yeoman, A. White, 11. Spolsky, A. Williams, and R. Bendy.

'J.'ho special meeting- of delegates called to elect a member of tho Management Committee, owing to the retirement of Mr. C. F. Ward, resulted in the election of Mr. A. E. Wells, a former chairman.

Tho Karori Club entered a 33 team in tho junior division,, and Brooklyn a team in tho second grade.

,Sovoral transfers wore granted. An application was received from Trontham to entor a toam in tho second round of the junior championships. The team will bo known as tho N.Z.A.M.C. team, and its colours are khaki and cherry. Tho team was entered at a. reduced fee.

The Auckland Association wrote asking i£ it would bo possible for an Auckland team journeying- to Canterbury to play a match with Wellington on the 25th. The request was not complied with, as it was considered there was not sufficient time to make suitable arrangements. A letter from Auckland suggesting1 that a Wellington fourth division team bo sent up on or about the 19th July was referred to tho boys' sub-committee for consideration.

Thorndon entered a protest against the win of Institute fourth division, on tho ground that an Institute player was over age. Tho matter was held over, A Marist player applied for a transfer to Institute. Marist opposed tho application, on the ground that the boy did not have sufficient cause to bo granted tho transfer. The report from the boys' subcommittee recommended that tho transfer should bo opposed. The recommendation was uphold, and the transfer refused. Karori complained that in its match with. Johnsonvillo the game had been played over time. No action was taken. A lad who played for Institute while over the age, and who readily admitted that he had deceived the Institute team on the question of his age, was suspended for four playing Saturdays.
