BROOKLYN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

A successful concert, arranged by Miss Ysabel Pickthall, was given in tie Masonic Hall, Washington-avenue,-Brooklyn, on Tuesday, in aid of the Sunday School and Bible Class building fund. The Rev. B. Hutson presided. In spite of the unfavourable weather the hall was packed by an appreciative audience. Amongst the contributors to the programme, in addition to Miss Pickthall, were the Rev. A. E. Hunt, Messrs. L. Keisenberg and Tom Wallace, Mrs. Walker, and the Misses H. Jeffery, Eve Smith, and Edie Lang. Miss Daisy M'Lellan's pupils gave an interesting exhibition of dancing to the strains of the bagpipes, played by Mr. G. Young. At the conclusion of the evening's entertainment, a vote of thanks to the performers was proposed by Mr. J. B. Hopkirk.
