The above firm are among the most consistent and extensive exhibitors at the National Dairy Show, and, needless to say, their stand this year is ac it always has been—a big attraction to the more progressive spirits among the fanning community,'who are always eager .for the latest, and beet in the way of dairying and agricultural machinery, and who recognise in Manson and Bair, Ltd., a. firm oJ great standing and resource. First and foremost on the stand wei notice the Bidd- milking machine, and columns of eulogy on- the merits of the Eidd could be written, but this is hardly necessary, seeing the many machines that are installed on dairy farms throughout the North Island. Those contemplating an installation would be well advised to see the Bidd plant fitted with the patent releaser. It lias never failed tol give satisfaction wherever used, and Manson and Ban1, Ltd., will no doubt bo pleased to give all information in regard thereto. The firm also display at their stand various types of power engines, including the "Anderson" 2i h.p. also, the Blackstone 3 and 1£ h.p., each, of which are admirably suited for all classes of farm work, such as driving milking machine's, circular saws, shearing machines, etc. Other lines noticed at the stand were the Beatrice Separator, Farmers' Favourite Drill, a set of Noxon disc harrows, an Ontario saw bench, and many other interesting lines. The firm are the largest importers of agricultural machinery in town, and, owing to their long experience- and knowledge of the country's requirements, they have done much in raising the standard of agriculture, by placing at the disposal of farmers appliances specially adapted to New Zealand, and embracing the latest inventions for the saving of manual labour and the perfection of results. Their premises in E,angitikei-street contain a large assortment of general hardware, which shows that the firm have spared no efforts to taJ:e advantage of the entire resources of the ironmongery trade, and their huge stocks manifest a knowledge and experience which have for their object the absolute worth of everything displayed, and the disposal thereof at prices in keeping with accepted Wens of cheapness and economy. 'Builders' and fencing ma•terial, Wilson's famous cement, and all lines in keeping with such an establishment are fully represented. Manson and Barr are also district agents for the Mas-sey-Harris machinery nml implements, spare parts for which are kept in otock.
