CASUALTIES,

(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 28th May. Mr. E. S. Montagu (Secretary for India), in the House of Commons, stated that the total civilian casualties in the Indian riots were, four hundred, and included eight Europeans. Damage was done to the extent of a million pounds.
