TOFUA TO REPLACE PALOONA.

The Union Company announces that arrangements are being made for the Tofua, now being reconditioned at Port Chalmers, to center the San Francisco mail service early in July, in place of the Paloona. The latter vessel withdraws on arrival at Wellington at the end of June from San Francisco. No arrangements have yet been made regarding the future movements of the Paloona. She left San Francisco at 1 p.m. on Wednesday: last for way-ports and Wellington,
