APPEAL TO THE ALLIES.

LONDON, 30th April.
Messages from Brussels emphasise the urgent need for the restoration of Belgian industries, and: state that outside assistance is imperative. The Premier, who has returned from Paris, states that the question of reparation for Belgium would appear in the Peace Treaty, but they could not expect, immediate payment. The Senate decided to appeal to Britain and the Allied Parliaments to. redeem their promises of prompt and complete reparation.
