HOMING PIGEONS
The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society held a, show for pairs on Wednesday. Fifty-one pairs were exhibited, and the judge (Mr. R. Clark) had a difficult task in placing tho winner. His awards were as follow: —J. Le Grys, 1; G. Geary and special nomination, 2 ; J. H. Clark, 3 ; J. Bolton, v.h.c.; J. Le Grys and J. H. Clark, h.c.; J. Perrett and J. Le Grys, c.
