EXTRAORDINARY ISOLATION

(Received April 22, 11 a.m.)

NEW YORK, 20th April.

The New York Times Paris correspondent states that extraordinary steps will be taken to prevent, the German peace delegates at Versailles from having communication with tile rest of the world. It is proposed to" erect an eight-foot barrier of trellis-work from the Hotel dcs Reservoirs, where the delegation (which will probably number 75) will be housed, to the rear of the Triajion Place Hotel, thus forming a complete enclosure.

The delegates will not leave the enclosure until the day the treaty is signed, and no one will be allowed to enter the hotel unless he bears a special permit.
