TRAMWAY EARNINGS
The Easter traffic on the .Wellington Tramways was not particularly .heavy this year, the financial returns shewing v
a decrease on the figures for last year. There being no service on Good Fri-Jay this year, the figures for the same Jay of 1918, £351 15s 6d, stand out of comparison. On Easter Saturday of 1918. the sum of £686 183 was" taken, bat this year the figures were down to £354, 14a lid. On Easter Monday of last yeai the fares totalled £510 13s 3d, while yest«rday's return was £528 6s lOd.
