ARTCRAFT THEATRE.
In A Desert Wooing," now showing at the Artcraft Theatre, Enid Bennett displays dj-amatic strength of a Mugh order as a society debutante, and later as a strong, resourceful woman. The story deals with the niarriage of a social butterfly to a man who takes her to his ranch in. the West. She loves him, but resents his treatment of a former admirer and his wife's relatives. Subsequently the husband is shot by ithe admirer, but the wife forces the assailant, a surgeon, to save her husband's life. Good supports and pleasing music make up a fine programme.
