EMPRESS THEATRE.
It is an old adage that appearances are often misleading. In fact they are mostly so, and were never more so than when they ruined the name of the beautiful woman who is the heroine of the story "The Appearance of Evil." This fine World film drama is now showing at the Empress, with June Elvidge as the star. Mr. Charles Melvin's singing of "The Long, Long Trail" was greatly enjoyed.
