The tracks are : heavy at Caulfield. Hymestra and Nanna did three furlongs in.3B£secs. At Flemington the going is fair!.: Petrucio did seven furlongs on the cinders in lmin 30£ sec, the first four furlongs in 39|sec. Wedding Day ran six furlongs in lmin 16sec, the first four in.sosec. Greenstead did a mile in lmin 47sec, Lucknow seven furlongs in lmin 32fsec, Fitness a mile in lmin 46£ sec. Sir' Carl was destroyed as a result of a collision on the track.
