'-The Scoutmaster and boys did excellent; work in raising the sum. of £15 10s by nieans of. a. concert, towards the cost of- purchasing instruments * for a, band. They have rendered, assistance at the Soldiers' Hostel, V.M.C.A. National Headquarters, and in various patriotic efforts. '■' A very' ' successful scout camp was held at South Ka,r^ori during the Christmas holidays. Owing to the increased cost, due to high railway charges, the attendance at the Easter* Camp at Waikaiiae was the smallest for some years.
