Bag© Records commenced their game against Petone at Petone on Saturday, lh Jhe first innings Base Records compiled 115 (Redmond 29, Evans 21, Shaw 20, and Hawkes 17). Corner took seven wickets for 44 runs. In their first attempt Petone reached 85, the chief contributors being Ambler 19, Duncan 17, Rodger 15, and Corner 13. Redmond, four for 1-8, and Valentine, four for 34 captured the wickets. In their second innings Base Records have lost three wickets for 90 runs—Redmond 40, Valentine 37. Hill's Pipeworks, batting first, against Hannah's United, scored 324 runs (H. Murphy 135, M'Kay 57, Castles 22, C. Murphy 20). O'Farrell, Marks, and Buck bowled best for Hannah's United, who have ecored 77 for four wickets (Erskine 21).
