The warning of. the Conference to Eastern Governments is likely to be productive of good. La|;ely there have been difficulties, amounting sometimes to armed conflicts, between Serbs and Italians, Serbs and Rumanians, Llkrainiams and Poles, Poles and Czechs, Georgians and Armenians, and Arabs and Assyrians. It is known that the Hungarian Government is preparing to profit by the quarrels between the new nations that are forming in her territory.
