SMALL STEAMER ASHORE

REFLOATED AT FLOOD TIDE.

A telegram was received by the Marine Department on Saturday evening from the principal lighthouse keeper at Farewell Spit, reading: — "Small steamei, red funnel with black top, ashore on Farewell Spit, four miles east eft the lighthouse. Vessel in upright position.
