At the luncheon given by Mr. Lloyd George in honour- of President Wilson, Lord Albemarle unveiled a life-size portrait of George Washington as a boy The picture has a remarkable history. It was being taken to Holland in 1778 on board the American ship Mercury, which the British sloop Fairy captured. Captain Keppel, who was Lord Albemarle's ancestor, • took possession of 'the picture.
