Viscount Grey, in connection with the League of Nations proposal, and eaid he was delighted to meet members of the Government which had brought Britain into the war because of a great moral obligation baaed on a. treaty. The United States greatly admired such motives, and subscribed to the principles actuating the Government of Britain in obeying this moral dictate. Organisation would be necessary if the league were to be established.
