As the Sailors Friend's Society's Institute is still being used as a Seamens' Hospital, the society, has been obliged to make unusual plans-for New Year's Day Picnic : At 10 a.m., a special tram will convey the. sailors to the country where sports will bs a feature of the day Through the courtesy of the.managers of Sfc Andrew's, The Terrace,-the hall has been placed at the society's disposal the whole day. If the weather'is wet, the picnic will be held indoors; if fine'the hall will ba' used in the evening for games, concert, and supper. _ Mr. Moore, Missioner, would be glad if his workers will accept this notification.
