Owing to the delay in loading operations caused by the wet weather, the departure of the F. and S. liner Dorset for Colombo and Port Said .has been postponed until 2 p.m. on Monday. The departure of the S.S. and A. liner Arawa for London, via Panama, has also been postponed until I p.m. on Monday. ■ THE SYDNEY SERVICE. A cable has been received by the Union Company from Sydney stating that the position regarding the Moeraki and Manuka, which have been held up at Sydney for a considernble time, is unaltered. There is no hope (the message states) of crews being obtained until after the holidays. rALOONA AT PAPEETE. Word has been received by the Union Com?any that the Paloona has arrived at Papeete rom Wellington and Rarotonga. The'Paloona left Wellington on Sunday, Bth December. , TE ANAD AND MONO WAI. The Te Anau, which U to sail for Auckland on Tuesday, will take transhipment cargo only. The Mooowai, axed to sail on Monday at noon for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, will receive town cargo for the three ports As the ferry st«»mer Mararoa did not leave Lyttelton until late last night, it was noon before she put in an appearance at Wellington this morning. The steamer was also delayed by the thick foggy conditions. To-day's rain has delayed loading operations on the waterfront, and the Kokiri, which was to have left, for Greymouth to-riight, will not be able to leave until Monday. The Corinna will leave NeV Plymouth at midnight to-night for Wellington. BY TELEGRAPH.
