OUTLOOK NOT BRIGHT
Holiday makers in Wellington have little to rejoice over in the matter of weather, but apparently conditions generally are unsettled. Fair, \yarm, and hazy weather was experienced generally yesterday, but since last night the skies have clouded over and this morning's reports show that rain has fallen in manjr parts, particularly in West Coast districts, and about Cook, and Foveaux Straits. The barometer has fallen slowly everywhere, and freshening northerly winds have prevailed. The indications are for unsettled, cloudy and misty weather, and for rain generally, heavy in parts with rivers rising. Cooler conditions may be expected shortly. Strong northerly winds' are likely to back to southerln* everywhere soon. It is probable that the early part of the week may prove fine, but another change is likely about ' the middle of tlse week.
