The story runs from one kind of wildriess to another—the wilds of Canadian ' backblocks to the wilds of a dancing hell. The dramas tells how the heroine, obeying a foolish money -grubbing father, marries a rich man whom she does not love—and so begins a. keen anguish of- heart which passes to feav and. happiness, unexpectedly found.
