CONTROL OF RAW MATERIALS
LONDON, 24th* December
The Council of the London Chambers of Commerce urges that duties should be levied on raw materials exported from the British possessions unless they are intended for manufacturers in the United Kingdom. The Council also urges that the British Government shall cease to act as a trading intermediary between the producers and the consumers.
