VIOLENT FIGHTING IN THE TOWN

AMSTERDAM, 23rd December.

Violent fighting occurred at Danzig between the partisans and adversaries of the revolution. The red flag was hauled down, and replaced by the national colours, but the revolutionaries replaced the flag, stormed the prisons, and released the prisoners. A number of persons were killed or wounded. The Danzig people are protesting against the proposed inclusion of the town in Poland.
