LEAGUE OF NATIONS
LORD NORTHCLIFFE'S OPINION. (AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) NEW YORK, 22nd December. The New York Times Paris coztcspondent interviewed Lord Northcliffe, who said that the League of Nations appeared to him to be a somewhat abstract, academic subject. He said the proposed league would receive powerful backing from all political parties in England, and was apparently warmly endorsed in France. ■
