THE WORRIED KAISER
A CHANGED APPEARANCE.
(RIUTEII'S TILEOItASI.)
THE HAGUE, 19th December. The constant worry of the past five weeks has changed the Kaiser's appearance. His face is ashen white, Ms hair is grey, and his features are deeply lined. Since lying, in bed ill a threedays' growth of beard has so altered his appearance as to make him look ten years older. The former Empress is almost his sole attendant. Strangers are not permitted in the grounds on any pretext.
