After 43 years' service in the National Insurance Company, Mr. Henry Williams is voluntarily retiring. For twentvfive years Mr. Williams has occupied the position of general manager.
Last year when the Auckland Regatta Committee awaited upon the Minister for Marine to obtain the Amokura for the Auckland Anniversary Regatta. Mr. Ernest Davis, owner of the Viking, the largest yacht.in New Zealand, suggested that the Amokura should be stationed in Auckland for a period of her* commission each year, claiming that Auckland was entitled to have this boat stationed there, particularly in the winter time, it being more, suitable for the boys' training. Mr. Wilford promised that the Amokura should spend part of her commission in Auckland each v ycar.
