NAVAL CENSORSHIP CEASES

A message received by the GovernorGeneral from the Secretary of State for the Colonies gives the following statement of the Admiralty:—"The' censor^ ship on all naval articles, photographs, etc., has been removed. The press, authors, artists, photographers, and kinematographers neejj not submit anything to the naval. censorship, which has reverted to the pre-war conditions. The censorship on naval books, articles, etc.,' held up during the war, has been taken off."

Sir Joseph Ward states that he is in communication with the Imperial authorities regarding the war 'prohibition of codes for overseas cabling. He will publish the result as soon as it is available.
