FOR RETURNED SOLDIERS.
Base Records, advke3 that the King' 3 '(Certificate of\Disoharge for members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force is now being issued. H] The following members of the JEjcpe•flitionary Force .ire, subject to the approval of the Army Council, eligible to receive this certificate. (a) Warrant officers, non-commissioned officers and men who have served overseas in a theatre of operation, and who have been discharged under Paragraph 392 (XVI.) ©r (XVI.A), of the King's Regulations, land whose disablement has been certified to have been caused or aggravated by lhilitary service,' provided their disablement or ill health was not doe to misconduct, (b) Warrant officers, non-com-missioned officers and men who are not feeing inclnded in the provision of »übparagraph (a) above, have been, discharged under paragraph 392 (XVI.J or (XVI.A) King's Eegulations, and whose disablement has been eertified_ to be directly attributable to the action of the enemy, e.g.; air or naval raids. The definition -of the various theatres of operations is set out. Disabilities resulting from wonnds wilfully selPinfficted, or from alcoholism, venereal disease, ijr'from other causes <Jue to the soldier'sown act or neglect, are considered as due t» misconduct. The certificate bears Eis Majesty's signature.
