TO RELIEVE DISTRESS
Mr. F. Castle has given notice for the next meeting jof the Wellington Hospital Board that he will move as follows: (1) That- a special committee, consisting' of six (members of the board and: four-; non-members, be set up to deal. witbiS cases of distress directly arising out ofi£ the. recent .epidemic. (2) That tie city,4 and suburban epidemic committees " bei>* asked to nominate four persons-for tha,; above committee. (3) that, the special committee be empowered to deal at once) with all urgent cases, and also to report to,the board, as soon as, possible* th»' number of children that will have to be* provided for, the best means' of/doing this, and the probable amount required per annum for this purpose. v ;
