Difficulty is being experienced in procuring labour for the Waingaw'a Freezing Works, which will not open until next month (telegraphs The Post's Masterton correspondent). A '■ conference of freezing works delegates will be held in Wellington on Thursday to consider developments in regard to* labour and other matters. It is stated that employees at the works are demanding increased wages.
Mr. S.; h. P. Free, S.M., of Masterton, is relieving at the Wellington Magistrate's Court for a few days. Mr. F. V. .Fnuier, S.M., is presiding over the meetings of the Public Service Appeal Board tbiir week.
