CAPETOWN, 9th December.

A mass meeting at Johannesburg passed a resolution against the return of the German colonies and in favour of' the repatriation of all Germans m the South African Union.

The Governor-General, addressing ten thousand natives at a thanksgiving service for peace, declared that in no circumstances would territory which was once German West and East Africa be restored. ' ■ ■ <
