MANGAHAO HYDRO-ELECTRIC SCHEME
' Replying to an inquiry by Mr. W. H. Field in the House of Representatives concerning preparatory work for the Mangahao hy«ro-electric scheme, the Hon. Sir William Fraser stated : It is inexpedient to make a pronouncement in regard to any particular local scheme for the'supply of hydro-electric energy until the report of the Chief Electrical. Engineer on the whole subject has been submitted to Parliament This report will be laid on the\table of the House in due course.
